Looking back over the previous week, there have been a number of new beer labels and trademark applications that have received regulatory approval. Today’s post is dedicated to three new line extensions and a label redesign.
The new labels are as follows:
Naturday’s Strawberry Lemonade
Naturday’s is a new flavored malt beverage line extension of the Natural Light franchise from ABInBev. ABI filed for the trademark back in August and just received label approval this past week.
Naturday’s is described as a light lager with natural flavors, has 4.2% ABV and made for those who like strawberry lemonade and drinking beer.
As is my custom, I had to check the whois of the domain name. Naturdays.com has been registered to an individual in Turkey since March 2009. No sign of a Naturday’s domain in the ABInBev portfolio.
Michelob Ultra Infusions
In keeping with the low alcohol, alternative beverage alcohol trend, ABI is rolling out a new line extension of Michelob Ultra called Infusions. The first release is Lime and Prickly Pear Cactus flavored with 4% ABV and 95 calories.
Mexicali Beer has been distributed in the US in one form or another since the late 1980s. I can remember first noticing the brand when Corona started gaining traction in our market back in 1987.
For many years the colors of the Mexicali brand were patterned after the unmistakable green, white and red tricolors of the Mexican flag. Here’s the most recent Mexicali label in the market:
The Import Brands Alliance arm of ABI recently received regulatory approval from the TTB for a new Mexicali beer label update. The new Mexicali label colors have a familiar blue and yellow scheme along with a rising (yes, it could be setting) sun. There’s no mistaking which brand the label revamp is targeting:
MexicaliBeer.com is registered under privacy since 2001 and does not resolve. The exact match domain name Mexicali.com is registered to Digimedia, Scott Day’s media company, since 1998.
National Bohemian Day Beer
National Bohemian Day Beer is a new release line extension of the National Bohemian brand from G. Heileman Brewing Company marketed by Pabst Brewing Company and brewed by MillerCoors. Natty Boh is a popular brand in and around Baltimore where it was first brewed back in 1885 by the National Brewing Company.
Day Beer is a light lager version of Natty Boh with 3.8% ABV and 110 calories. Taglines for the brand include “Have Yourself a Day” and “Come Play in the Light.”
The domain name DayBeer.com was first registered to Day Distributing Company of Maple Plains, MN in 2000. Day Distributing was acquired by JJ Taylor in 2015. It looks like Night Shift Brewing acquired the domain name in early 2018. DayBeer.com currently forwards to Night Shift’s home page.

Beer Distro Domain of the Day: BeerPage.com – One of the first websites devoted to beer. It’s been around since 1996 and has quite a few backlinks.

PremiumDelta.com – Another nice domain name for a consolidated beer distributor.
CraftBeerFactory.com – This is where all that craft beer comes from.
BeerHolder.com – Great domain for a supplier of beer can koozies, or huggies or holders. 1998 birthday.

DirectInvoice.com – Not a bad domain name for an invoice service provider. It’s got some age, registered since 1999.
Bikehaven.com – I picture this as a small village of about 1,000 people with 25 breweries and everybody rides a bike to get around.
OldChelsea.com – Town in Ottawa. Would make for a nice whisky.
